Luke Reidy is an Irish visual artist based in the west of Ireland

Luke Reidy’s practice explores shape, form, colour and balance through painting and screenprint. His work combines sharp geometric forms with softer organic shapes, building compositions through layers of flat colour and transparency.

Architecture, interiors and the spaces around him have long influenced his work. Since returning to West Clare, the landscape and coastline have increasingly entered his visual language, bringing more organic forms and a brighter palette into the work.

Reidy completed a Masters in Printmaking in 2020, where his research focused on visual perception and the ways colour, shape and form can influence how we experience an image. This continues to inform his practice today.

Reidy's bold, colourful paintings and prints bring energy, character and a strong visual presence to contemporary interiors. From private homes and smaller living spaces to larger architectural and corporate environments, his work creates striking focal points through colour, shape and form. His practice has a natural connection with interior design, offering artwork that can complement a space while bringing its own distinct identity.
